I love to eat! With an Indonesian & Spanish/Central American background via the D.C. Metropolitan area, I was introduced to all types of cuisines as a child. My love for eating the good things in life has always been strong, and I’m passionate about local and sustainably grown/raised products. Plus, living in New York City for years helped develop my palate. Traveling and having international friends is a plus as well, nothing beats an authentic home cooked meal!
Good quality dark chocolate is a weakness of mine, it’s my drug of choice! Hence, the nickname that I always go by “chocokat.” The “0178″ is because I lived in Brooklyn, NY for a while… my hometown, at heart.
I’m a freelance photographer and have lived in Wiesbaden, Germany with my husband and cat for about 4 years. We came back to the USA in late July of 2008. The husband and I were transients in different states, for about a year. Now we’ve moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in June of 2009. It will be our home for a few years!
