I’m pretty sure that this photo is perhaps the least attractive dish that I’ve photographed. This is what happens when empty tummies (especially a hungry husband) take priority over “food styling.” Anyway, I don’t usually crave breakfast burritos but I decided to make a bunch this morning. The husband and I ate one each, and I wrapped the rest to save for another time. There’s really nothing exciting about the ones I made, but they were incredibly satisfying and tasty. I even topped them with vegetarian green chile, something I’ve very slowly grown to like since living in Colorado.
What do you prefer in your breakfast burritos and do you enjoy green chile?

Spelt tortillas filled with Larga Vista Ranch breakfast sausage, eggs (scrambled with oregano, salt, and pepper), sautéed beet greens, and queso blanco. Topped with avocado slices and vegetarian green chile.

Green chile is delicious, never used it in a breakfast burrito though. My breakfast burritos consist of chorizo with a habanero pepper I R bought it Japan.
