Please excuse the German title, but I’ve learned to love the language. How it rolls off the tongue in a somewhat difficult yet familiar manner. Even though I grew up speaking 3 languages and learning to be fluent in another, German was hard for me to warm up to when we first got here. I have a thing about pronouncing words, in any foreign language, as correctly and authentically as possible. Maybe it stems from having to switch from one language to the next throughout my life. Anyway, now I’m fascinated with it and it’s really too bad that I’m not quite fluent even after these few years of being here! But that’s a different story.
