Polaroid kind of day a.k.a. Domäne Mechtildhausen kind of day.
Since our time in Wiesbaden, Germany is coming to an end; I think a lot about what what I will miss the most. I suppose the list is endless, in some ways, but it’s just going to be plain hard to live without certain things. Such as being able to travel to Italy for the great food, wine, coffee and visits with two of our good friends. Living in a sweet little apartment just a skip and a hop away from anything we ever need. Not being quite fluent in a language so in a way, it’s nice to be lost in your own thoughts even in a crowd. Also, our beloved organic working farm Domäne Mechtildhausen. This is what I will miss for sure. The funny part is that we spent most of our first year not even thinking that it was anything other than a stable or something.
