Our journey continues as we plan to stay a little longer in Wiesbaden, Germany. That decision was a hard one to make, for various reasons, but I’m positive that things will be wonderful in the end. It’s incredible to believe that we moved to our current apartment on the 31st of July and it’s now September!! I love our “new” place, I can’t say that enough. Even if we still have some boxes to unpack, more furniture to buy, and even still decorating to do. It’s just such a relief to be out of the place we were living in before. I actually enjoy coming home now and it’s the little things that our cozy yet spacious place offers which make me extremely thankful. Life is good, Mr.E and I have never been closer. Spider had a small bout of stomach issues that seem to have gone away (with the help of special food) so he’s happy as can be.

On my work side of things, as of last Friday, I no longer work at the small portrait studio. It was a “break-up” that I would never have gone through if I had been given more of a choice. Without going into the gory details, let’s just say that some people should never be put in charge of things. It’s really sad when a person forgets that professionalism & respect go a long, long way. If circumstances were different, I would have loved to stay longer. There are many things that will continue to keep me busy, though, so I’m not worried. It’s just the principal of what happened which makes me a little sad, especially since I had become fond of studio photography. Something glorious is bound to happen… I’m sure of it. The best part about all of this is that I won’t have to work for anyone else for a while, unless I choose to. I’ll continue on freelancing and spending time with David, which will be great.
