I miss being able to drop off my laundry, at a favorite laundromat, and pick it up a couple of days later. Fresh & clean, folded, and done by someone else. That is one thing that I really don’t like doing and I let it pile up, every time, until I practically run out of things to wear. Just last night I had to borrow pajama bottoms and a t-shirt from Mr.E because I used up all my “sleeping clothes”. Thank goodness for mass quantities of very important items, though!
Well, at least I can say that I do keep it tidy and neat in laundry bags… one for coloreds and one for lights. Even when I manage to (super reluctantly) do laundry… it seems as though it never ends! Our German washer/dryer are so cute and energy efficient. I love them, though it does take forever to wash & dry anything. Makes me detest this chore even more. I think even if I could have the best of the best in those appliances, my dirty laundry would still pile up. Unless they came with a “laundro-bot”… a laundry robot, of course. This is an embarassing confession, but maybe this is a self intervention. Eeek. Read the rest of this entry »
