In our household, we love coffee. Granted, I usually prefer a good cup of tea… I mean a really good cup of tea! Not Lipton or such things. Anyway, let’s not get off topic.

What comes to mind when I think about coffee? First off, the rich intoxicating aroma. Especially when the beans are freshly milled and just begging to be made into a brew. Well, even before that… I always like to look at the beans. At times I even want to touch them because it’s nice to feel the smooth, firm, and oily texture.
If I could have a really great espresso machine at home, I would, for that is my favorite way of having a coffee. We do own some Moka’s, though, and they do make a fine cup or two. I also enjoy having a pot of French pressed coffee, especially because I am not particularly fond of keeping that beverage warm for hours. I have nothing against drip machines (for the most part), but I prefer a really fresh brew. Sometimes I like a small spoon of raw sugar mixed in, either soy or regular milk, or just black if the coffee is especially nice. Cappuccinos and lattes are also delicious, if done well, of course!
